The Pioneer’s Lodge is one of a kind historic meeting place and community hall in Red Deer. Built in 1958 by the Central Alberta Pioneers and Oldtimers Association, it is a reminder of our roots and the hard work of our forefathers in making Red Deer the wonderful city that it is today. Today the Lodge is home to a collection of interesting historical and cultural artifacts. No other community in Red Deer has such a warm and welcoming facility.
The Pioneer’s Lodge is located in historic Parkvale at the corner of 47 Avenue and 44 Street. Next to the arena and curling rink, it is walking distance to downtown Red Deer. Click here for a map. It is wheelchair accessible, offers off-street parking and has kitchen facilities. Capacity is 85 seating and 100 standing… a great venue for your business meetings, anniversaries and family reunions.
We invite you to use it for your next event. Not only will you find it to be perfect for your gathering but you will be offering support toward the care of this important piece of history in Central Alberta.
The management of the Pioneer’s Lodge is overseen by the Parkvale Community Association (PCA).
